Oxford University Club

The University Club provides social, sporting and hospitality activities for all staff, postgraduate alumni, retired staff and associated institutions of the University. These include broadcast of sporting events, a 5-a-side football pitch, gym and various other activities.

Oxford University Sports Facilities

The University has a sports centre that offers discounted membership rates for staff and students. Discounted rates are also available for your Partner/Spouse. Facilities include an athletics stadium, football pitch, an AstroTurf pitch, tennis courts, indoor facilities, Dojo martial arts base, squash courts, swimming pool, sunroom and sauna, sports hall and ancillary rooms.

Botanic Gardens

The University of Oxford Botanic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in Britain where you can visit inspiring herbaceous borders, glasshouses that take you around the World or simply relax. Admission is free for university staff and students and the gardens are open throughout the year.

Harcourt Arboretum

Harcourt Arboretum has been part of the University of Oxford since 1963. The site comprises 130 acres containing the best collection of trees in Oxfordshire with some of the oldest redwoods in the UK. Admission is free for university staff and students.

Wytham Woods

Wytham Woods covers 415 ha and consists of a mixture of woodland and grasslands with over 30 km of rides. Permits are available for free with donations accepted to raise money for the upkeep of the woods.
