RDM, in line with the University, fosters an inclusive culture which promotes equality, values diversity and maintains a working, learning and social environment in which the rights and dignity of all its staff and students are respected.

The University and RDM work to remove barriers which deter people of the highest potential and ability from applying to, and thriving at Oxford, either as staff or students.

If you'd like to receive regular updates about the University's work in this area, you can subscribe to the University EDI Hub Newsletter and join the EDI Hub Team.

Equality, diversity and inclusion in RDM

Equality, diversity and inclusion policies are set at an institutional level but implementation takes place at departmental level. Members of RDM work with colleagues on both institutional committees and local working groups to ensure policies are translated into best practice.

EDI work in RDM is coordinated via the EDI Committee

If you have any ideas for EDI projects within RDM please contact Charlotte Smith (the RDM EDI Facilitator).
