What we offer

We offer fellows a cutting edge research project based at the University of Oxford, which is supervised by world-leading researchers in the field of diabetes and other cardiometabolic diseases. In addition, each fellow is given a mentor or supervisor at Novo Nordisk. As part of their project, fellows will be given the opportunity to spend time in the laboratories of Novo Nordisk in Copenhagen. There may also be the option to form a collaboration with the Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford (NNRCO), if fellows are not already directly supervised by scientists from NNRCO. Fellows will therefore get an insight into research in both academia and industry.

Our prestigious postdoctoral research fellowships are aimed at early career researchers with a basic science background. They are fully funded for a three year period and provide the fellow’s salary, a generous travel allowance and consumable support for the laboratory in which they are based. Our fellowships are open to outstanding candidates of any nationality.
