Professional and Support Staff Case Studies

Have you ever wondered how your colleagues got to where they are? Or wondered what you may need to do if you want to get into a certain role? We have been asking RDM Professional Support Colleagues from different areas and specialisms to give an overview of how they got to their current positions, and what they have learnt along the way.

We have case studies from Charlotte Smith, RDM Strategic EDI and Strategic Projects Facilitator; Harry Clarke, CVM Recruitment Assistant; Noëlle Obers, MRC WIMM Research Support Officer; and Charlotte Woodward, DTU Clinical Trials Manager. Between these four, there is a breadth of education and career experience showing that there are multiple paths which you may choose to tread.

We would like to sincerely thank our colleagues who have already contributed, and we will add more case studies to increase the visibility of the diversity of experience within RDM. As the number of case studies increase, we will look to see if there are common themes which may help you when thinking about your own career and development.

We also have online the information about the Researchers’ career paths. This information is available on the Career Development pages of the RDM website.
