Prof Leanne Hodson has been appointed as the new Divisional Advocate for Research Staff, providing academic strategic leadership and promoting the interests of MSD researchers at Divisional and University levels.

Prof Hodson will work with representatives from all MSD departments as academic lead for the MSD Research Staff Forum. The Forum identifies issues and reviews policies and practice related to the wellbeing, career development and working environment of researchers. It aims to connect the voices, views and experiences of research staff to processes and decision-making within the Division and University.

Prof Hodson comments, 'I am delighted to be appointed as the MSD Advocate for Research Staff and am very much looking forward to working with colleagues within MSD and across the University to advance career development for researchers and drive positive changes in research culture.'
