DPhil Student

My undergraduate degree was in Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University in Canada. I then moved to the University of Oxford to do my Masters in the same field. I am currently doing a 4-year DPhil in the Medical Sciences in Prof. David Jackson's lab at the Weatherhall Institute of Molecular Medicine working on the entry of Antigen presenting cells to the lymphatics and their migration to downstream lymph nodes to activate the adaptive immune response. Specifically, I am looking at how antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells regulate the secretion of chemokines in the lymphatics and how they induce the opening of endothelial junctions to facilitate transmigration
