I trained in medicine (MD, and MSc in Medical Research Methodology) and haematology (CCT in Haematology) in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Currently, I am a Clinical Research Fellow, funded by Cancer Research UK, attending the DPhil in Medical Sciences programme, offered by Radcliffe Department of Medicine, University of Oxford. I am based in the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit, MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, supervised by Professor Adam Mead. My research project focuses on the genetic lineage tracing in myeloproliferative neoplasms, with a special interest in the megakaryocyte/platelet-biased haematopoiesis.

My research is closely linked with my clinical practice, based at the Department of Clinical Haematology, The Churchill Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
