I joined the Group back in 2005 after completing my Bachelor of Medical Science at Birmingham University. My primary roles within the Lygate group are in-vivo cardiac phenotyping of our numerous transgenic mouse lines, which I also manage and maintain and the creation of in-vivo models of heart failure and cardiac hypertrophy mainly chronic myocardial infarction, ischaemia-reperfusion and thoracic aortic banding
