The Diabetes Trials Unit have released an updated version of the UKPDS Outcomes Model, which now provides estimations of risk factor time paths across the period of simulation. This is based on previous work in the publication:

Estimating risk factor progression equations for the UKPDS Outcomes Model 2 (UKPDS 90)
Leal J. et al, (2021), Diabet Med, 38

The Outcomes Model is a computer simulation model for estimating the long-term impact of health interventions for people with type 2 diabetes. It has been developed primarily to assess the lifetime benefits of diabetes-related intervention.
