Congratulations to Prof David Kerr (NDCLS) who is the winner of the 2017 Harvard Global Health Catalyst: Distinguished Leader Award. This is in recognition of his many years of leadership in the global health work, including most prominently:

  • Serving as President of the European Society of Medical Oncology
  • Establishing major international collaborations with India’s leading cancer center
  • Establishing AfrOx (Africa Oxford Cancer Foundation), which aims to improve the delivery of cancer care in sub-Saharan Africa

 Prof Kerr receives his award today (28 April) at Havard Medical School during the Global Health Catalyst Summit.
