Held on 29th September 2022, the symposium brought together researchers from across the world to present the latest applications of advanced imaging.

More than 170 scientists gathered this week for the Oxford Imaging Symposium, held in the Oxford Medical Sciences Teaching Centre.

Organised by Dr Anjali Kusumbe with support from the MRC Human Immunology Unit, the symposium brought together international leaders and Oxford scientists to explore the theme 'Imaging Beyond Boundaries', highlighting cutting edge research around the use of imaging in discovery science and clinical translation.

Speakers included Tatiana Petrova from the Ludwig Institute in Switzerland, Arvind Pathak from Johns Hopkins USA, Ziv Shulman from the Weizmann Institute in Israel and Paul Kubes from the University of Calgary in Canada.

"It was an awesome day filled with fascinating science, fantastic talks and discussions on cutting-edge imaging and beyond" said Dr Kusumbe, "it provided an excellent opportunity for students and postdocs to network with international leaders. This would not have been possible without the incredible support from the MRC Human Immunology Unit, and enormous help from Anne Farmer and Renata Sojka".
