Congratulations to Prof Marella de Bruijn, Associate Professor of Developmental Haematopoiesis, who has become the Director of the Oxford-MRC Doctoral Training Partnership.

This is a new role following a re-organisation of leadership responsibilities, with responsibilities for leading the delivery of the MRC DTP and leading on the University’s preparation of future bids for MRC DTP funding. Marella’s research interests lie in developmental and stem cell biology. She is currently Director of Graduate Studies for the Radcliffe Department of Medicine (RDM), Chair of the Oxford-MRC DTP Steering Committee, Chair of the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine’s (WIMM) Graduate Studies Committee, and a programme leader in the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit in the MRC WIMM.
