In total 15 Principal Fellow Awards were made out of 50 applicants. The Awards are aimed at attracting, recognising, developing and retaining outstanding researchers, whose research will have a direct benefit on NHS care. Each Fellow receives £15,000 per year for 3 years to support their research.
