OCDEM Building

Professor Fredrik Karpe will be stepping down as Head of RDM-OCDEM and Chair of the OCDEM Management Board in the autumn of 2023, after eight years distinguished service.

Professor Keith Channon, Head of Department, warmly thanks Professor Karpe on behalf of RDM and OCDEM, saying, “Fredrik’s leadership of OCDEM over the recent years has been a crucial factor in OCDEMS’s successes, its stability during times of change, and the recent recruitments and growth into new areas. We’re enormously grateful for his hard work and commitment, and will of course value his continued contribution to OCDEM in future”. Professor Karpe will continue in his other roles as usual.

Applications for the new Head of RDM-OCDEM and Chair of the OCDEM Management Board have been invited within the department.
