The Researchers' Trailmap was developed by the University to help researchers plan their research journey. It is designed to aid looking ahead, scanning opportunities and discovering more about development opportunities at Oxford.

Mapping Researchers' Career Paths

In 2015, RDM undertook a project to map the career progression of researchers from PhD student to PI. It demonstrated that there is no one correct career path to take to become a PI, and that many different routes can lead to the same place.
