This team of highly skilled and experienced research professionals support a diverse portfolio of research across the Division, and provide study participants with the highest standard of care and professionalism.

Group of nurses and support people

The Research Nurse, Midwifery and Support Team is based within CV Med’s three clinical research facilities (OCMR, CCRF and AMIIC).

Led by Senior Research Nurse, Catherine Krasopoulos, the team supports studies in translational research and basic science within cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy, cardiac CT scanning, echocardiography, cardiac and vascular physiology studies.

The team is active across a diverse portfolio of research, from supporting basic science and PhD fellowship studies, to leading observational studies and delivering commercial and University sponsored clinical trials.

The team provides study participants with the very highest standard of care and professionalism so that research involvement is a safe, informed and positive experience.
