The Melvin Judkins Young Clinical Investigator Award, named for the pioneer of coronary angiography, recognises meritorious research from early career investigators and promotes careers in cardiovascular radiology.

Candidates for this competitive award were judged on the scientific merit of the abstract; quality and originality of the manuscript; letter from the candidate's sponsor and reference letters; the candidate's CV; and the oral abstract presentation at the AHA Scientific Sessions (finalists).

The award was based on Rohan's work; "Reduced Absolute Myocardial Perfusion Relates to Left Ventricular Dysfunction in Lone Atrial Fibrillation Before and After Successful Catheter Ablation"  and was awarded at the American Heart Association (AHA) scientific sessions in Anaheim, California.

Congratulations Rohan!
