The centre contains a disverse range of wide-field and confocal microscopes: Delta Vision Elite Live Cell Imaging System, Olympus IX83 TIRF, Zeiss 510 Inverted Confocal, Zeiss 780 Inverted Confocal, Zeiss 780 Upright Confocal, Zeiss Spinning Disc Confocal, and a Leica SP8 Gated STED. The Wolfson Imaging Centre, which is located in the WIMM, was offically opened today, 23 May 2013. The Centre was established following a generous grant provided by the Wolfson Foundation.
