Congratulations to Prof Raj Thakker who has been awarded Hakan Ahlman Award, for publications of excellence, at the annual European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society conference in Barcelona.

Prof Thakker received the award for his publication in the journal EndocrinologyPasireotide Therapy of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1-Associated Neuroendocrine Tumors in Female Mice Deleted for an Men1 Allele Improves Survival and Reduces Tumor Progression. The work was judged to have made a significant contribution to translational research.
