The Radcliffe Department of Medicine (RDM) is a large multidisciplinary department with research interests that span the translational spectrum from basic biology trough to clinical application. Research opportunities cover the whole span of these research interests.

We currently have around 150 graduate students, most of whom are studying for a DPhil. From 2026/27 we are offering a new MSc by Research in Medical Sciences and will welcome our first masters students to the RDM graduate community.

RDM's mission is to improve health through cross-disciplinary research to understand shared mechanisms of disease and to accelerate the transition from scientific discovery to clinical care. We are committed to training the next generation of researchers in biological and clinical sciences to support this goal.
