David Roberts, Professor of Haematology at the Radcliffe Department of Medicine and Consultant Haematologist, has been elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences

Professor Roberts' current research interests include immuno-haematology, with projects aimed at understanding host-pathogen interactions in malaria, using functional as well as genetic methods. He also works to widen the evidence base to improve practice in transfusion medicine
