Kenneth Chan
Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiology
I am a Clinical Research Fellow in cardiology supported by the British Heart Foundation. My research focuses on non-invasive imaging of the heart, vessels and fat tissue using Computed Tomography (CT) scans. I also manage the international collaboration and analysis of health information from >200,000 patients in the Oxford Risk Factors and Non-Invasive imaging (ORFAN) study. Using machine learning techniques, I aim to extract the hidden prognostic information from routinely performed imaging tests beyond their current diagnostic role, in order to understand, treat and prevent cardiovascular disease.
