Xing Liu

PhD

Lead Cardiac Physiologist

I am a BSE-accredited, HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist with expertise in echocardiography (ECHO) and non-invasive cardiovascular investigations, including cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), electrocardiography (ECG), ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring, and exercise stress testing. I independently perform these investigations, including image acquisition, data analysis, and clinical reporting, to support a broad portfolio of clinical trials across oncology, paediatrics, commercial and industry-sponsored studies, as well as cardiovascular research.

I hold a PhD in Cardiac Physiology from the University of Manchester and a Master's degree in Cardiology from China Medical University, following comprehensive medical training. With over 10 years of senior postdoctoral research experience in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Oxford, I have developed extensive expertise spanning both clinical practice and translational cardiovascular research. My work combines advanced cardiac imaging with clinical research to support high-quality patient care and the successful delivery of academic and commercial research studies.
