Prenali Sattwika

DPhil Student

Prenali Dwisthi Sattwika is an awardee of the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship and joined the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) in 2022. She is currently reading for a DPhil in Medical Sciences under the supervision of Professor Adam Lewandowski, Professor Paul Leeson, Dr Winok Lapidaire, and Professor Eric Ohuma.

She graduated as a medical doctor and specialist in internal medicine from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Since 2019, she has been a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing at UGM. In addition, she is a researcher at the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit at UGM and has been a member of Cochrane Indonesia since 2021.

At the CCRF, her research focuses on clinical studies examining patterns of disease development in offspring born to hypertensive pregnancies. These changes are investigated across multiple organs, including the heart, brain, liver, and kidneys, using advanced imaging modalities such as echocardiography and magnetic resonance imaging.
