Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer

I am a Consultant in Chemical Pathology and Metabolic Medicine at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. I was previously Clinical Lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry during my registrar training and now have an honorary senior clinical lecturer post. I am responsible for organising Clinical Biochemistry teaching to fourth year clinical medicine students during their Laboratory Medicine course. I am also responsible for supervising fourth and sixth year medical students during the Chemical Pathology special study module.

My research group is a collaboration between the University of Southampton, Kings College London and University of Oxford and we are investigating the effects of hormones such as Growth Hormone, on athletic performance and developing methods to detect hormone misuse in elite athletes.
