Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiology

BACKGROUND

I am a Clinical Research Fellow working with the Raman group in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. I have recently completed my cardiology specialist training in Australia and plan to sub-specialise as an imaging cardiologist with a particular interest in cardiac computed tomography (CT). I was awarded the Ramsay Postgraduate Scholarship to support me to undertake a Doctor of Medicine at The University of Oxford. My research project will explore novel methods of myocardial tissue characterisation using cardiac CT in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. I am passionate about improving cardiovascular health and hope that my work will lead to earlier detection and treatment of common cardiac diseases.
