DPhil Student

Jack is a cardiology registrar undertaking a DPhil at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance research (OCMR), under the supervision of Prof. Betty Raman, Prof. Hugh Watkins and Prof. Stefan Neubauer. His research focuses on using multimodal data, including advanced cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, to identify markers of disease progression and treatment response in individuals with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and carriers of disease-causing genetic variants. The goal of this work is to guide the use and monitoring of novel gene and molecular therapies in the future. Prior to joining this project, Jack graduated with a distinction in Medicine from the University of Oxford and has been undertaking clinical academic training in Manchester and Liverpool.
