Amy Wood

DPhil Student

I joined the HSCB group as a research assistant in February 2023 shortly after finishing my MSc in Human and Molecular Genetics from the University of Sheffield. As an RA, I worked on a project studying the clonal architecture of single and multi-hit TP53-mutated Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) using single cell genomics.

In October 2024 I began studying for my DPhil with Adam Mead, in which I am expanding upon this single-cell TP53 project to better understand the clonal architecture and genotype-phenotype characteristics of TP53-mutated myeloid malignancies.
