Aimee Paterson

DPhil Student

As a DPhil student in Professor Adam Mead's Lab my research focuses on the molecular mechanisms by which myeloproliferative neoplasms progress to secondary acute myeloid leukaemia. Patients who progress to secondary acute myeloid leukaemia carry a poor prognosis and better characterisation of the cellular and molecular events which predate leukaemic transformation will aid the generation of novel therapeutic strategies.
