Abbie McLellan

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Abbie is a Postdoctoral Research Associate leading the CAREFOL-HT Offspring follow-up study. This research is investigating the long term effects of maternal 5-MTHF supplementation, taken during normotensive or preeclamptic pregnancies, on the cardiac and vascular structure and function of the offspring.

Abbie's previous doctoral work focused on the effects of nutritional supplements, including beetroot extract and caffeine, on cardiovascular and vascular health and function in healthy individuals.
