Matt Gosden
Research Facilitator
I am a Research Facilitator in the RDM Research Strategy and Funding team. I am the primary point of contact for RDM researchers based in the WIMM, NDCLS and IMD wishing to apply for intermediate fellowships. I also manage the review of applications to internal funding opportunities such as the Medical Sciences Internal Fund, the Lockey Fund and the Returning Carers Fund. Additionally, I support the operations of RDM's Academic Career Panel and Career Development Committee.
I first joined the University of Oxford as a Research Assistant in 2015 as a member of Professor Jim Hughes group at the WIMM. In 2019 I was awarded a WIMM studentship to complete a DPhil in Medical Sciences, remaining in the Hughes group. Upon completion of my DPhil I worked as a data analyst with the Education Department at Oxfordshire County Council. I am excited to be back at RDM, and to help support the work and careers of researchers.
