Deputy Head of HR

Hello everyone! I'm delighted to have joined the Radcliffe Department of Medicine as the Deputy Head of HR.

I've been with the University since 2014, starting in the Department of Computer Science as their HR Manager. Since, I've had the opportunity to work across several departments in a variety of HR, equality, diversity and inclusion, and project management roles.

I took the role of HR Projects Manager at the Mathematical Institute, where I co-ordinated the department's REF 2024 submission and supported the successful Athena Swan Silver award. I moved to Saïd Business School as Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion before taking on my most recent role as Equality Advisor in the Equality & Diversity Unit. There, I led the implementation of the 2025 Institutional Staff Experience Survey and produced the University's annual Equality Report for 3 years.

Working across these different roles has given me a broad understanding of the University, as well as experience in HR, staff engagement, organisational change and EDI. I'm keen to bring that experience to RDM and to support colleagues across the department.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family and my dog, Riley. I love trips to European cities when I can. I also enjoy cycling - my new route to the WIMM is now 9 miles each way, so I hope to be really fit after "the hill", which seems unavoidable. I've done this 3 times now and feel this is a significant accomplishment! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and working together.
