I did my Ph.D in University of Amsterdam, during which I mainly studied Multiple Myeloma cell proliferation, survival, drug resistance and signal transduction in the context of tumour microenvironment.
In 2019, I joined Professor Adam Mead group as a postdoctoral researcher. Currently my work mainly focuses on understanding the effects of CRISPR genome editing on haematopoietic stem cells using mouse model. We hope that this project will provide valuable insights for the safety of haematopoietic stem cells genome editing in the treatment of genetic blood diseases. In addition, I am also working on developing new genome editing method particularly for mutation correction in haematopoietic stem cells. Our goal is to develop an efficient and precise genome editing method for the treatment of genetic blood diseases.
