Sebastian Luna-Valero

Bioinformatics System Administrator

I did a Computer Science degree at the University of Malaga (Spain). As part of the degree I was awarded an Erasmus scholarship that allowed me to study at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) where I first had the opportunity to learn about Bioinformatics. Since then, my professional goal has always been to apply Computer Science to Biology and Medicine in order to make the world a better place to be.

In 2013, I first came to Oxford and joined CGAT (Computational Genomics Analysis and Training group) as a system administrator where I am very keen on providing valuable computational support to researchers in order to unveil the secrets of diseases and develop innovative solutions to cure them.
