Research Facilitator and Novo Nordisk Programme Manager (maternity cover)
- Please note that I work in RDM Monday to Wednesday (am), and the MPLS divisional office Wednesday (pm) to Friday.
As part of the RDM Research Strategy and Funding team, I work closely with Ruth McCaffrey (Research Strategy Coordinator), Serena Briant (Research Facilitator, currently on maternity leave) and Julia Humes (Research Facilitator, maternity cover) to support research and funding activities in RDM.
I am the team's contact for CVM and OCDEM based research staff in RDM, and am available to meet with researchers interested in applying for fellowships, other external funding opportunities or internal funding schemes. For prospective fellowship applicants, I coordinate the RDM internal peer review process to strengthen fellowship applications, prior to submission, and organise mock interviews.
I am also the Programme Manager (maternity cover) for the Novo Nordisk-Oxford Fellowship Programme.
Before joining RDM in May 2018, I trained as a scientist with a particular interest in developmental neurobiology. I completed my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at King's College London in 2013, then moved to the Francis Crick Institute for my PhD.
