Understanding transcriptional regulation in hematopoietic development from a structural aspect

I am a structural biologist currently working as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Porcher Lab (WIMM). I aim to understand the role of transcriptional regulation in the early stage of hematopoietic development, it deals with determining the structure of large DNA-protein complexes using Cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography. Previously I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Ecole Polytechnique, France (Laboratoire de Biologie Structurale de la Cellule; Team: Dr. Marc Graille) for four years and worked on protein complexes, involved in ribosome biogenesis and maturation. I did my Ph.D. in Structural biology (protein X-ray crystallography) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

I am also working with Dr. Denis Ptchelkine (Co-Supervisor) to maintain our Protein purification facility and insect cell culture facility (baculovirus expression system) in WIMM.
