Vanessa Ferreira (CVM) is Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, Chris Rodgers (CVM) is Associate Professor of Biomedical Imaging, Elizabeth Soilleux (NDCLS) is Associate Professor of Pathology, John Reader (CVM) is Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and Stefan Piechnik (CVM) is Associate Professor of Biomedical Imaging.

The following researchers are now University Research Lecturers:

Timothy Betts (CVM), Katja Gehmlich (CVM), Svetlana Reilly (CVM), Rui Montiero (WIMM, NDCLS), Ricardo Carnicer (CVM), Gillian Douglas (CVM) Quan Zhang (OCDEM) and Reshma Ramracheya (OCDEM).

The title of University Research Lecturer is given in recognition of substantial independent research achievement, along with contribution to the general academic life of the Medical Sciences Division and RDM.
