Many congratulations to Dr Oliver Rider, who has been awarded a BHF Intermediate Clinical Research Fellowship.

Oliver is interested in the impact of obesity on the cardiovascular system and his Clinical Research Fellowship will allow him to investigate the “effects of bariatric surgery on the cardiovascular system” in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Oliver will continue to develop his research programme at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research with this very prestigious and highly competitive fellowship.
