2022 RDM graduate prize winners
This year’s RDM graduate prize goes to Edward Jenkins (MRC HIU, MRC WIMM, IMD) from the Davis and Eggeling groups; Antje Rotter (OCDEM), formerly from the Gloyn Group; and Akshay Shah (NDCLS), from the Stanworth group. Doug Higgs wins multiple awards
Professor Doug Higgs (MRC WIMM, NDCLS) was this year's winner of the Sir Andrew McMichael Award for Excellent Supervision and Mentorship (which recognises those supervisors who have gone above and beyond what is required of them in terms of their mentorship and pastoral care of their students, post-docs and other lab members). He was also awarded the 2023 Genetics Society Medal.
Award wins at ESC
Professor Stefan Neubauer received the European Society for Cardiology (ESC) Silver Medal at the ESC 2022 meeting, while Dr Marco Spatera (both CVM) was awarded the Young Investigator Award at the same meeting

Associate Professor James Davies named as Lister Research Prize Fellow
Dr Anjali Kusumbe receives the RMS Life Sciences Medal
Dr Qiang Zhang wins Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Early Career Award 2022
Lucia Moreira wins best poster prize at the BHF Fellows Meeting 2022
NDCLS-led Lab Med App wins Vice-Chancellor's education Award
The app was put together by members of the NDCLS Teaching Team, led by Dr Debbie Hay, with input from student groups. NDCLS Clinical Lecturer Abhi Ghosh wrote the app from scratch.
