RDM is committed to providing a happy and rewarding environment where all staff and students are supported and valued. We continuously aim to improve the experiences of our staff and students, by identifying areas we are doing well in and those where further improvements are needed. This is why all members of RDM were asked to complete a survey in November 2014.

The 2014 survey was the first department-wide survey since the formation of RDM and the results informed RDM's application for an Athena SWAN Silver Award, submitted in April 2015. The links between the survey and how it informed the Action Plan are highlighted in the results webpages. The results will be used as a baseline for future surveys.

We are pleased to report that 508 staff and students responded to the survey; a response rate of 71%. Thank you to all who participated in the survey. We value the opinions and experiences of all staff and students throughout the department. If you have any questions or comments about the survey results, please contact
