Clinical trial capability

We typically recruit over 3000 participants a year to Oxford dermatology studies which include clinical trials and discovery research. These can be single-site or part of multi-site large scale international clinical trials, which we often lead.

The research also includes capabilities of skin challenge studies in which we assess changes in the skin following specific interventions, for example after allergy skin testing.

We have an accredited laboratory to handle and process patient samples for routine analyses as well as more bespoke capabilities depending on requirements.

Collectively, this allows us to address major causes of unmet medical need, supporting diverse groups of patients.
