Many congratulations to Professor Leanne Hodson, who has been awarded a British Heart Foundation Fellowship. The Fellowship provides over a million pounds in funding over five years for the research that she leads.

Professor Hodson's research focuses on the alterations in metabolism with nutritional state and substrates along with the associated metabolic consequences of obesity.  Her group performs whole body human physiological studies to understand the metabolic integration between tissues. 

Professor Hodson said "I am delighted to have my BHF Senior research fellowship renewed and am looking forward to undertaking the proposed work.
