Congratulations to Professor Rajesh Thakker who has been awarded the Dale Medal by the Society for Endocrinology at its annual meeting in Edinburgh.

This medal is awarded on an annual basis, to a member of the scientific community in recognition of outstanding studies which have changed our understanding of endocrinology in a fundamental way.  The Dale Medal is the highest accolade bestowed by the Society.    Professor Thakker delivered the Dale Lecture at the meeting and the title of his lecture was "Calcium Regulation: From Rhinos to Molecules.
