An introduction for those looking to get started in public engagement with research covering the basics of what it is, how to get started and a chance to be inspired by those already doing it. This course forms part of the ‘Communications’ strand of the RDM Learning and Development Programme. Registration for this course is now open to all staff and students in RDM.

Would you like to get involved in public engagement? Applying for a research grant that requires a public engagement proposal? We are hosting an ‘Introduction to Public Engagement’ course on 12 December. Learn more about what public engagement is, the different approaches available, and how to get started. We will also be joined by Dr Dannielle Wellington (Dong lab, MRC Human Immunology Unit), who will share her experiences as a researcher taking part in organising and delivering public engagement events.
