Postdoctoral Researcher

I work as a researcher in the Hughes’ Lab which has interests in mapping the regulatory genome. My interests include working on computational biology, machine learning and bioinformatics whilst applying them to gene regulation. My DPhil was focused on developing neural network and other ML approaches to understanding Alternative Splicing with applications to clinical genetics. Since graduating I have been working in a very collaborative manner within the Hughes’ group with the aim of developing a suite of tools which can better understand a wide class of gene-regulation from CTCF, Enhancers, etc. to a continued interest in splicing
