Congratulations to Dr Adam Lewandowski and Dr Eylem Levelt, from the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, who both won highly competitive awards at this year's British Cardiovascular Society Annual Conference.

Dr Adam Lewandowski was awarded the Young Research Workers' Prize (1st Place) for his work entitled "Postnatal cardiac remodelling after preterm birth: Why preterm-born individuals have a unique functional and structural phenotype in young adulthood?". Dr Eylem Levelt had the highest scoring abstract in imaging: "Relationship between coronary microvascular dysfunction, myocardial oxygenation and abnormal myocardial energetics at rest and stress in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus".
