Public Engagement with Research describes the many ways that members of the public can be involved in the design, conduct and dissemination of research. High-quality engagement is a two-way process with the goal of generating mutual benefit between the public and researchers and ultimately enhancing the quality or impact of research.

Public engagement and communications training is delivered centrally by the University. You can view upcoming training courses on the University’s Public Engagement pages. Oxford Sparks

Oxford Sparks provides an online platform to share the scientific research that takes place at the University with wider public audiences through high-quality animations and podcasts. Researchers who are interested collaborating with Oxford Sparks to create a short animation or podcast about their research should contact RDM Communications.
